If you’re interested in team-building activities for recruitment or retention purposes, sailing, rowing, cooking, painting, scavenger hunting, storytelling, and singing options are available. We also design educational experiences at museums, theaters, art studios, galleries, restaurants, and wineries. Many of our programs can be tailored to suit your diversity goals, and in some cases, we design programs specifically to address diversity in an intelligent and exciting way (meet female artists, athletes, sommeliers and TV execs who are redefining their profession).

If you’re interested in entertaining and rewarding clients or treating your staff to a good time, consider target practice, private parties with opportunities to meet celebrities, reservations at the most sought after restaurants, and Broadway theater tickets with meet-and-greet opportunities.

Though we are not all-purpose event planners, we’re happy to help you coordinate a special event. We have access to a host of unique, intimate spaces that are veritable treasures and don’t require decorating. We also work with preferred caterers and talent agents that agree with our discriminating taste and will ensure a successful celebration. In each case, we will find the best price possible and charge a reasonable fee for coordination.

When you subscribe to a Summer or Full Year package with The Griddy City, your firm will have access to the following services:

  • Restaurant Reservations—The Griddy City can secure reservations (for parties under 10) at the most desirable restaurants in NYC for a fee of $150. We call these special temples for gastronomic worship “the impossibles.”
  • Group Tickets—Whether you need sports or theater tickets, The Griddy City is happy to make the reservations for you at no additional charge. The commission benefits a charity that serves adults with disabilities through the arts. Group ticket purchases begin at 10. For a fee of $200, The Griddy City can arrange for you to share a box at sporting events with other firms if you don’t have enough people or a large enough budget to rent one for yourself. Opportunities for meeting athletes are also available for a king’s ransom.
  • Transportation—Referral to our shared-ride partner + a Griddy City discount to save your firm valuable dollars in the transportation line item.
  • Philanthropic Advising—Looking for the perfect partner for your firm’s day-of-service or corporate sponsorship? The Griddy City staff got its cultural stripes in the non-profit sector and can help you connect to the charity that speaks best to your heartstrings and vision.
