Fêteworking: SoHo Rooftop Flamenco Party
Guest will be treated to an open bar of sangria, beer, wine, a raw oyster bar, hearty passed hors d’oeuvres, and two 45-minute sets of sizzling hot flamenco music and dance in one of the best kept secrets in NYC–a rooftop garden in SoHo. We recommend this as an ideal setting for client development, recruitment strategizing or rewarding existing staff.
Between sets, there will be a trivia hosted by Art21 with a prize for the winning team. We discovered Art21 at trivia night at the Met Museum–it’s tons of fun and a fantastic way to integrate team-building or networking into a festive event.
The Griddy City specializes in cultivating unique opportunities for business professionals to aid them in their recruitment, retention and sales goals. Our emphasis is on the arts and channeling revenue to the non-profit sector as a new model for fundraising in the “New Economy.”
About the performers: Amor y Aire Flamenco’s sultry movements, heart-wrenching vocals, and flair for drama that oozes out of every pore will remind you why you moved to the hippest, griddiest city on earth. This is not an ordinary event. When you watch Amor y Aire perform, you feel like you’ve landed in the Golden Age of Cool.
We discovered them on a rooftop in Brooklyn three years ago and are proud to bring them your way at a Griddy City party series in the Pent House Rooftop Garden.
The members of this troupe—from Argentina, Spain, the US, and Venezuela—have been trained by flamenco’s foremost masters but are always pushing the limits in their sizzling performances that fuse the classics with jazz, Afro Caribbean tempos, and Argentine tango.
