About
We started The Griddy City with two objectives: to help corporate firms improve their company culture and to do it in a way that supports charitable works. Our services are particularly well suited to Summer Associate programs as we specialize in finding and designing top-notch corporate outings, bringing incentives to the work place, and offering advisement on philanthropy or days of service. Our services are also ideal for rewarding sales staff and entertaining clients.
If you’re a recruiter or an HR generalist, you will immediately see how our services fit into your recruiting and Total Rewards objectives.
If you’re a public relations specialist, you have the satisfaction of knowing that your work with The Griddy City furthers your corporate responsibility mission.
We are able to secure unique and exclusive opportunities for our clients because of our deep knowledge of the cultural landscape in New York City. Opportunities include but are not limited to screenings, behind-the-scenes access at museums, team-building experiences (culinary, artistic and athletic), tickets with meet and greets of athletes and actors, rooftop cocktail parties, wine tastings, tours, fine dining, art and video installations, and workshops on art collecting. To learn more, please visit our Services and How Much pages.
We ask that you take our survey on the home page so we understand your business’s values and objectives. We’ll then plan a meeting with you to talk one-on-one about those goals and make a proposal for incentives that accommodate your budget and meet your stated goals. We can customize just about every experience and work with most budgets.
MORE ABOUT THE GRIDDY CITY
Over 60% of our partners are non-profit organizations. This is a source of pride to us, and we think you’ll take pride as well in knowing that your incentives and diversity budgets helped a charitable mission succeed. We are very choosy about the organizations we work with because we think it’s important to support excellent work that improves the lives of all New Yorkers and because we know that if we give you a scrumptious taste of what our partners do, you’ll come to love them as we do. They need the support of corporate New Yorkers because old models of fundraising simply aren’t as viable as they once were and the number of non-profits that spring up each year continues to rise, stretching available resources too thinly. This social mission is part of what makes us unique at The Griddy City, and we’ll be applying for B Corp status next year to protect it. If you’d like to know about our commitment to the environment, we can say with pride that we work with a green printer, using soy ink and recycled paper, and we work remotely, using cloud computing and shared office resources to leave the smallest footprint possible. The Griddy City is a woman-run business, though we do not currently have MWB certification. We expect to have this certification in the summer of 2013.
